About Ruth Noonan

Ruth graduated with a degree in  Music Education and a major in organ performance from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. She has had the opportunity to perform in Northern Europe as well as the New York and Philadelphia area.

Ruth served many years as the minister of music in several churches as well as a public school teacher.  She worked with the Master Teachers' Collaborative  program of the New Jersey Symphony.

Ruth later enhanced her career by attending Hahnemann University of Health Sciences in Philadelphia.
There she studied "Creative Arts in Therapy "and trained at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital  in New Jersey. 

Ruth holds a Masters degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Music Therapist. and a Fellow with  the Association of Music and Imagery.  Ruth is a Reiki Master in healing touch.  She is the founder of the Longmont United Hospital music therapy Program and has been in private practice for over ten years.
